Patrick Gabridge is a US playwright whose plays have been produced in theatres across the States. Besides being a writer, Patrick is also an avid gardener. Pumpkin Patch & Newton’s Call draw upon his years of experience as a coordinator of community gardens in Boston.
He also started the 200 Foot Garden, a public "commuter" garden in Brookline, Massachusetts, where volunteers grow vegetables for the community on a formerly unused strip of land. (http://200footgarden.blogspot.com/.) This year, he has taken on the challenge of farming, starting the Pen and Pepper Farm in Dracut, Massachusetts. In addition to growing tons of vegetables, he expects to harvest material for quite a few new plays this summer.
